I was so excited to have my sister and family come down for my birthday. We wanted to go dancing but with 3 babies, nothing is every for certain! We enjoyed a late night at home with some yummy cake and I opened my gifts. I got a beautiful dress and sweater from my sister, Max, Max, and Levi. From Clementine I got a cool book on how to make homemade organic baby food! That’s perfect because she started eating rice cereal and will soon have veggies and fruits. My mom bought me an apron and a cupcake decorating book. I also got a Kitchenaid mixer from Ian!! Wow! I can’t wait to use everything to bake, cook and decorate. Those are all my favorite things : )

I am 24 years old and it seems really strange. I remember looking at people in their 20s and thinking they were so old! Now I’m nearly halfway to 30. I hope to remember and take time for the most important people in my life. I am a mother now and knowing how time flies, I never want to take any moment with my Clementine for granted. I want to record and be there for all her most important steps in life. I am so blessed and lucky for all I have and for the opportunities I still have. Thank you my family!

Introducing Rice Cereal!

My baby girl is starting rice cereal! She didn't start at 4 months. She would just spit it out! Now she loves it and opens her mouth for me to give her more. It's the cutest thing! I can't wait until she starts different veggies then fruits!

San Diego Trip

I worked all weekend and my mom decided to use her 3 day weekend to take off. She is so lucky she is a teacher! Well since I have been working, Clementine stays home with Grandmother. So this weekend Grandmother took Clementine to San Diego! She bought her a beautiful sailor outfit and got a lot of attention from everyone! After work on Sunday I drove down to San Diego to be with them since I had Monday off too. Plus, I couldn’t be so far away from my baby girl for that long!! We stayed as guests in Jeff’s community called Wesley Palms. This place was gorgeous. It took a while to find it,  but when I did I was taken back at how beautiful it looked. It sits in the middle of these hills surrounded by trees and old fashioned homes. I love it. It was great to drive by all of the beautiful houses. San Diego is absolutely beautiful.

Monday morning we met with Tia Bink, Max, and Levi. I love any time we are able to see them. Luckily, it will be more often since they live closer. We went to eat at Noodles and Company then we went to the beach. Here are some pictures of our fun weekend!

Staying at Home

I am ashamed at how long it has been since I have blogged!

Its been 3 months since I have worked. I have to say, I do miss it but nothing can compare to the feeling of knowing I can take care of Clementine myself. I am so grateful for my mom and all the help she provides for us. I have just enrolled at Cal State University San Bernardino. They have a campus here in the desert. I will be going 3 nights a week, 4 hours per night. Doesn't sound too fun but because the classes are all directed towards Criminal Justice, I think it will be good. I am not looking forward to not seeing Clementine for that long but this is going to be good for us in the long run.

I have been encountering the most beautiful moments as I see my little angel growing everyday. I must make it a habit to blog every time these moments happen. On November 21st she had her 2 month check-up (with shots!). My Clementine is such a brave girl. She cried for a minute but stopped as I held her and told her it would be okay. It feels so good to know, in my arms, she feels a sense of security. What she doesn't know is, I feel just the same. She makes me want be better. Also, at her check-up I found out my baby girl weighs 15 lbs! She has been wearing size 2 diapers for a while now. I love how she is so big!

Clementine 9/21/2010 10 Pounds 2 Ounces 20.5 Inches

My beautiful girl graced us with her presence finally 3 weeks ago Tuesday night. It was definitely a day to remember. Well, more like a week to remember. Clementine came via C-Section on

September 21st. A day after her due date. That was the most exhausting day of my life! Being awake during the surgery was so unreal. I was numb but I could still feel tugging and moving lol. Sorry, for the visuals. She was so big! I remember hearing the Drs making bets on how much she weighed. No one guessed right :) She was bigger! There were a few issues after she was born but I was so happy she was by me the entire stay in the hospital. I love her so much!

To me, she is perfect.
